It has been reported that on August 20, a CNDF comrade was killed in an arson attack by the brutal SAC while fulfilling his revolutionary duties in Sar Taw Village, Kale Township. Following a clash between CNDF members and advancing military troops from the brutal council near Shar Taw Village yesterday, CNDF comrade Salai Ro Hming Thang, also known as Tha Bik (26 years old), was captured.
According to Salai Timmy from the CNO/CNDF, ‘Yesterday, there was a clash between our comrades and the advancing military troops from the SAC in Shar Taw. After capturing Tha Bik, the SAC executed him and then set fire to the homes in Shar Taw Village all at once.’
It is reported that the extent of the SAC’s casualties during the clash is unknown, and no other revolutionary forces were reported injured. The SAC also set fire to homes in Shar Taw Village and continued to burn houses in Thone Eain Su Village (Kyun Taw Yay Hseik Village) to the east of Sar Taw.
Currently, the body of Salai Ro Hming Thang, also known as Tha Bik, has been recovered by the revolutionary forces, and in accordance with Christian traditions, the remains have been given a proper burial.
