In Naungcho Township, fighting continues as the military is preparing to reinforce its forces

According to the TNLA, fighting continues in Naungcho Township, Shan State, as the brutal military is preparing to reinforce its forces.

It has been reported that clashes are occurring between the TNLA and the brutal military council troops at various locations, including Tharyar Chauk, Taungkhum, and the Kambawzathari Monastery in Naungcho Township.

Today, August 21, around 9:13 AM, clashes occurred at the 902 military base in Taungkhum Village. Around 9:12 AM, fighting was reported at the military base in Tharyar Chauk, and around 9:05 AM, clashes were taking place at the Kambawzathari Monastery.

It has been reported that during the clash at the 902 military base in Taungkhum Village, the brutal military council forces used a jet fighter to conduct an airstrike.

Additionally, it is known that the brutal military is attempting to reinforce its forces by advancing from the Kaungku area in southern Shan State into Naungcho Township, leading to clashes between the two sides.

On August 20, fighting occurred twice in Naungcho Township, specifically in Tharyar Chauk and Taungkhum.”
