Myanmar and Russia Strengthen in Defense and Humanitarian

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC), met with Russian Ambassador Iskander Azizov on March 20 in Nay Pyi Taw to discuss enhancing cooperation between Myanmar and Russia in various sectors, including defense, humanitarian assistance, and parliamentary relations.

The meeting took place at the Office of the SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw, where both parties exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations and building upon agreements signed during Min Aung Hlaing’s official visit to Russia. Discussions focused on expanding collaboration, addressing outstanding topics, and fostering long-term strategic partnerships between the two countries.
