The Chief Minister of Mizoram attended the 31st “Mizo Day” celebration in the United States on September 2 as the guest of honor. Following this, on September 4, he met with the Chin community in Indiana, where many Chin people reside.
During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of unity among Chin revolutionary groups and the need for stronger collaboration between religious organizations and civil society groups. Additionally, he highlighted that the Chin, Mizo, and Kuki ethnic groups share the same cultural heritage, traditions, language, festivals, songs, and stories, making them inseparable as brothers.
The Chief Minister also expressed hope that one day, despite being divided across India, Myanmar, and Bangladesh, these people could live together under a unified administration.
